What are Banded Blinds?
When we say “banded blinds,” we mean thinking beyond the traditional slats—also called banded shades or zebra shades, banded blinds were born in the early 2000s from designers' desire to marry functionality with style.
They perform with closure options quite similar to roller shades. However, instead of one solid fabric throughout the body of the shade, banded blinds combine both opaque and sheer materials in a banded stripe like a horizontal blind to maximize light control.
